Elevating Locality's Online Presence
Project Overview: Locality, formed from a merger between a broadcast and a streaming ad tech company, launched in the summer of 2023. The brand, focusing on hyperlocal ad targeting for streaming and broadcast, initially started with a simple WordPress landing page. As Locality evolved, the need for a more comprehensive online presence became evident.
The Challenge: Locality's initial website, a basic WordPress landing page, quickly proved inadequate for their growing needs. They required additional pages to showcase their products, and a platform for blogs and news to expand their content and organic reach.
The Solution: Tasked with this challenge, the Valtira UX team, in collaboration with our partners at wearesol.com, set out to enhance Locality's digital footprint. Working within a tight timeframe, we focused on designing new page templates that adhered to Locality's existing brand guidelines. Our goal was to create pages that not only fit seamlessly with the current website but also effectively conveyed the story of Locality's unique service offerings.
Outcome
The project culminated in the successful launch of new product pages, as well as blog and news sections on the Locality website. These additions provided a much-needed expansion of the site's functionality and content capacity, allowing Locality to better communicate with their audience and showcase their services.
Reflection
This project highlighted the importance of agility and adaptability in web design, particularly when working under tight deadlines. By swiftly aligning with Locality's brand vision and efficiently executing the design, we demonstrated how effective collaboration can lead to impactful results in a short period.
